Pork Thai Noodles

You don’t need to order takeout—we promise you can easily make Asian food at home. For this recipe, just think of making your go-to spaghetti but subbing in some simple Asian flavors instead of marinara.


YIELD 8 servings

PREP TIME 15 minutes
COOK TIME 10–15 minutes

1 pound linguine
1 pound ground pork
½ red onion, minced
1 ounce shiitake mushroom, sliced
2 Thai chiles, sliced
3 garlic cloves, minced
2 tablespoons grated ginger
2 tablespoons honey
1/3 cup soy sauce
1½ tablespoons sriracha
1 lime, juiced, plus wedges for garnish
¼ cup shredded carrots
¼ cup chopped cilantro
Chopped cashews, green onions, and mint for garnish

1. Cook the pasta until al dente per package instructions. Drain and set aside.
2. Warm a skillet over medium and cook the pork, onions, mushrooms, peppers, garlic and ginger until the pork is done, about 7–8 minutes.
3. Add the honey, soy sauce, sriracha and lime juice. Simmer for 3 minutes.
4. Add the pasta and stir to evenly coat and warm through. Remove from the heat and add the carrots and cilantro. Mix to combine and serve with your favorite garnishes.
