Thai-Style Smoked Salmon Dip

Oftentimes, smoked salmon dips are comprised of cream cheese, dill and red onions, but for this one, we’ve incorporated Asian flavors for a party app that’s reminiscent of a Philadelphia cream cheese sushi roll.

YIELD 10–12 servings
PREP TIME 10 minutes

1 (8-ounce) package low-fat cream cheese, at room temperature
1 tablespoon minced garlic
2 tablespoons grated ginger
6 green onions, sliced
4 thai chiles, sliced
½ cup Thai sweet chile sauce plus more for garnish
1 pound smoked salmon, flaked
Black sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
Wonton chips or baked crackers for serving

1. Cream together the cream cheese, garlic, ginger, onions (reserving some of the green parts for garnish), peppers and chile sauce in a mixing bowl. Gently fold in the salmon. Chill in the fridge until ready to serve.
2. Drizzle with chile sauce, garnish with the remaining onions, top with sesame seeds and serve with the chips or crackers.
